Technique Tuesday - Braided/Weaved Paper

Welcome to another edition of Technique Tuesday. Today I am showcasing the Braided Paper Technique.

I’m getting inky with Made wth Love DSP, Sweet Jars stamp set, Secret Sea, Poppy Parade and Flirty Flamingo papers and inks, Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink gems, and from my stash the Be Mine Stitched dies, Rhinestone gems and silver twine cord. 

Braiding the paper is akin to weaving fabric in fact weaving might be a better name for this technique. 

Once you have created your braided or woven pattern you can cut with a die if desired. For today’s card I am cutting two hearts with the Be Mine stitched dies.

Masculine Mojo on Monday!

Welcome to another edition of Masculine Mojo on Monday. Today I am playing along with a couple challenges to shape my final design.

Playing with Inspired By #IB373 and for choosing my hot chocolate cup dies and incorporating two focal images in my design from their sketch. 

Over at Festive Fridays #FF0202 Valentine’s Day inspo list I have chosen to  add pink, used die cuts, added a love sentiment, hearts and arrows in my design.

Getting inky with the Sweet Jars stamp set, the Hearts of Love 3D embossing folder, Made with Love DSP, Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink gems, Poppy Parade and Flirty Flamingo ink and from my stash Coffee Cups dies.

It all came together for an adorable “sending a little love your way” paper hug!

Sunday Slimline

Welcome to another edition of Slimline Sunday. Today’s card design was inspired by playing along to a few challenges to get the MOJO flowing.

Colour palette from over at Sunday Stamps: challenge #SSC378 I am using Bubble Bath, Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade and light and dark Pecan Pie blends. 

  

The layout from the CAS Colours & Sketches #577 I have flipped it upside down and stretched to a slimline design.

 

The TGIF challenges Mood board #TGIF562 to use the adorable Bear from December 2020 Paper Pumpkin Beary Comforting and holding a little heart. 

I’m getting inky with Paper Pumpkin December 2020 Beary Comforting stamp set from my stash plus current product Friendly Foliage stamp set for my sending love sentiment,  the Made with Love DSP for my strips of DSP, Triple Banner punch for my sentiment and , Strawberry Slush gems.

Love how the design came together - a clean and simple design with lots of white space that packs a punch of vibrant colour with the DSP strips and adorable love you vibes from the Bear presenting a little heart!
