Technique Tuesday - Split Diagonal Card

Welcome to another edition of Technique Tuesday - today’s edition is a quick and simple Split Diagonal Design inspired by Patty Bennett. 


My design was inspired by a couple challenges
TGIF challenges #tgifc585 for the fun sketch that’s perfect for trying this technique with!


The Card Concept #228b Colour palette - I’ve chosen Metallic Gold, Crumb Cake, Real Red, Shaded Spruce. 

As You See It - challenge #376 to use your favourite embossing folder - I’m giving my new Swirls of Magic a go and well pretty sure this is going to be one of my many favourites because well I can’t choose between all my babies they are all special to me 🤣

I’m getting inky with the Festive Cheer and Swirls of Magic embossing folder from the July online exclusives paired with the Peaceful Pines shimmer brush pen and Wink of Stella and some Rhinestones coloured with blends. Unbranded gold metallic twine. 


Split Diagonal Measurements - very easy technique to switch things up a bit.


Adorable Holiday card to add to my collection - definitely going to be ready this year with getting a head start with all the Christmas in July challenges.

    This is just lovely! You should enlarge your picture so us old people can see it better, LOL! The color combination is beautiful and I love the branch with the ornaments! Thanks for playing with our embossing folder challenge at As You See It this week!

      Thanks LeAnee - I think it might be which device people are using if I make the image larger on my end people complain they can’t see it all as jt disappears behind the side bar on the blog.
