Welcome to another edition of Whimsical Wings & Things … pulling out some whimsical gnome energy for this one. 

My final design was inspired by playing along with a few challenges: As You See It recipe challenge to use Gingham, Sequins/Gems, Ribbon/Twine, Die cuts and pumpkins. #AYSI383

INKspirational - another round of clean & simple with the optional plaid twist! 

I’m getting inky with Painted Patch DSP, Sincerely Noted Ephemera, the retired Kindest Gnomes bundle, Pool Party glitter ribbon from my stash and rhinestones.

Technique Tuesday - Dotted Delight

Welcome to another edition of Technique Tuesday - today I am playing with what I am calling a dotted delight technique which I saw from another paper crafter Jackie Mooney card and thought I just have to try that!

My final design was inspired by playing along to a couple challenges: Freshly Made Sketches sketch #FMS756

Krafty Chicks Challenge - Christmas 

Clean and Simple Cardmaking October challenge Black & White with a pop of colour. 

I’m getting inky with the Soirée Salutations stamp set, Nested Essentials dies, Triple Banner Punch, retired corner punch, white gel pen and red Stamp Write marker. 

Quick process video showing the basic technique is to use a mask to mask off the area you want to “dot” and just add dots over and over to create shading for your desired end image. 

Love the simplicity of the dotted design - it produces an elegant image and is so relaxing to do.

Textured Tree Ring embossing folder, Old Olive, Golden Glow, Timid Tiger and Highland Heather inks, Gray Granite and Petal Pink blends, Neutrals Jute and Metallic Gems.

Getting inky with an old favourite this time of year - Fall Fest paired with Greetings for All ephemera, antique pearls and unbranded gold twine. 

Final design a cute little pumpkin to wish someone a Happy Halloween this upcoming season.
