Welcome to another edition of Slimline Sunday - having fun with the extra design space to show off pretty DSP! 

My design was inspired by playing along to a few challenges:

Global Design Project having another round of Fall Garden/Harvest #GDP563

Just Add Ink challenge colour inspiration shades of rusty reds, browns & greens! #JAI793

Tic Tac Toe challenge #tttc300 with an almost full card - letters/numbers, Dimension with my popped up elements, Shiny Bronze twine & gems, sentiment,  die cuts, patterned paper and bright Fall colour palette! 

Double Trouble 3-2-1 challenge I have chosen at least 3 patterned paper, 2 colours and my 1 focal scarecrow image doing double duty as the I in FRIEND! 

I’m getting inky with the Fun for Fall bundle, Party Alphabet dies, Sunflower Fields DSP, Words of Beauty stamp set, Cajun Craze, Timid Tiger, Golden Glow, Old Olive, Pool part & Pecan Pie blends, retired Holographic Gems, and unbranded bronze twine.

Loving my new Party Alphabet dies I treated myself to when the double awards were going on they were perfect for this card and I can’t wait to make more custom worded projects!

Today’s design came from playing along to several fun challenges - slimline offers more design space so more challenges make it more fun:

Double Trouble 3 layers - 2 colours 1 sentiment challenge. Thing 2 Double Dare to use Try Sketch on Tuesday sketch. Thing 3 Twisted Sister challenge to add extra ingredients - I have added additional layers and colour.

 

Try a Sketch on Tuesday challenge #tsot701. - fun hexagon cluster! 

Inspired By…Caterpiller challenge #IB402 - I was inspired by the bright colours. I’ve chosen Timid Tiger, Garden Green and Gorgeous Grape. 

 

Festive Friday challenge #FF0216 National  Zoo Awareness Day. I’ve chosen to add stripes (in the Zebra), Fancy Fold - slimline fold, Texture with embossing folder, Wild Animal - Zebra and Jungle Leaves. 

 

Tic Tac Toe challenge #tttc299 left hand row for the win Birthday, Fun Fold and Free I chose to add an interactive wobbler. 

Just Add Ink #JAI792 choose Two - I have Gingham hexagons and Rhinestone sequins.

In getting inky with some ole favourites: Zany Zebra, Six Sided Sample, Hexagon punch, dynamic hexagon embossing folder, Sprig punch, Rhinestone sequins coloured purple and an action wobbler.

Double Vision Technique Tuesday

Welcome to another edition of Technique Tuesday - today I am playing with the Double Vision technique.

My final design was inspired by a few challenges.

Just Add Ink sketch challenge #JAI789 - perfect inspiration for trying out the Double Vision technique.

         

Inspire.Create Stampin’ Challenges colour palette #219 of Yellow, Pink and Orange. I’ve chosen Lemon Lolly, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie for my palette. 

 Cupcake Inspiration #638 Anything Goes  

INKspirational visual prompt - inspired by the bright colours and florals.

I’m getting inky with the Artisan Designed Garden DSP, Greetings for All Mix & Match ephemera, Barely Blush & Crisp Canteloupe Shimmer Brushes, Lemon Lolly, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie inks and blends. Metallic Silver.

Technique is a quick one that adds cool depth and dimension to your designer paper.

Technique Steps:

• Cut chosen DSP into strips - I have done 1/4” on the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP coloured with blends. 
• Adhere the strips to your base by alternating the use of flat layer with glue and a popped up layer using Dimension’s strips and repeat until all strips are adhered. Trim off excess if desired. 
• Complete your card design with a sentiment and embellishments of choice.

A bright & summery thank you card for someone special. I had fun colouring the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP with the bright colours & shimmer brushes for those pops of sparkle.

Welcome to another edition of Feminine and Floral. 

Today’s card design was inspired by playing along with Just Add Ink #JAI787 choose two or more. I have patterned paper and twine.

Getting inky with the Lovely Blossoms DSP, Greetings for All ephemera pack, antique pearls and some gold twine.

This sketch layout is perfect for showing off coordinating DSP. I love this paper - it’s just so pretty!

Just Add Ink choose two or more prompt #JAI782 I’ve chosen ribbon & rhinestones 

Double Trouble recipe 3-2-1 #213 to use 3 of something with 3 layers and 3 rhinestones, 2 of anything with 2 eggs and 2 flower stamps, 1 of everything else with one ribbon, one rabbit, one carrot. With Twisted Sister use an Easter element with the Happy Easter sentiment. 

Love how it came together!
