Took a GelMoment today!

OK I Dove Right In and got some self care pampering time in this afternoon with new fingers and matching toes! 

I’ve given myself a Lovee Dovee accent nail - thinking I want to eventually add some nail art to it! Just need to narrow down a choice cause there are so many choices in my head! 

I could do an ombré of blue polka dots, a flowery or mandala stamping plate with Dove Right In tinted gel, the rainfall technique with blues/silver, a silver Cullinan shimmer or SSpectrum Chrome … how’s a girl to choose?

Are all Whites the Same?

The biggest difference is definitely the size of the brush - Meet Me at the Chapel is perfect for French manicures and nail art while Lovee Dovee is for that full coverage manicure! 

However if you have the Creativity Set you can use the brushes within to make either one work for both by wither swapping for a larger flat brush for full coverage with Meet Me At the Chapel or the fine tip to do a French or nail art with Lovee Dovee OR you can be like me and just buy it all cause you have OCD issues with complete collections of things 🤣🤣🤣

Whatcha Wearing Wednesday?

Wednesday ... I am still over here wondering and worry about what colour polish to wear for my next manicure!

 

 

 

Sometimes when you have anxiety it’s just easier when someone else makes the decision for you … when I had the home childcare running I would get the little ones to help choose my next manicure colour by majority vote wins and they’d be all excited to see it the next day … somehow Paul is not quite as excited to help nor invested in the outcome as the crew was. Men, eh?

 

I am lucky that thanks to my GelMoment Fortify treatment my natural nails look fairly stunning even when they are naked!

Colours used:

• Thumb, Index & Pinky - Just Cruise
• Middle Finger - Coffee House mixed with Andromeda chrome. Clearly Frisky on top. (tutorial in the comments)
• Ring Finger - Base is 1 part Lovee Dovee and 2 parts Clearly Frisky, Just Cruise with Lovee Dovee swirled in it and foil created by using Raven's Kiss and Andromeda chrome.
• Whole nail topped off with Clearly Frisky.

Just Between Us - I am in love!!!

 Getting ready to decide on my Remembrance Day manicure so checked out our team photo library and am just in love with this inspiration by fellow distributor Jordyn Bailey! 

 

I think it would look awesome to use the creativity set and add a poppy painting on the accent nail! 

 

I also love how the Flawless takes on a totally new shade when layered over the Just Between Us - layering or mixing is another way to double or triple or even infinity your polish colours with all the shades you can mix yourself - like channeling that inner artist and scientist all in one!

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

Took some time out for myself today and had fun with the lovely Guinevere was totally excited to be doing some nail art for Halloween! 

Started with this inspiration from Pinterest and away we went!

 

 We chose to work with Raven's Kiss, Make Your Mauve, Lovee Dovee, Sublime and adding in some Galactic Chrome and Northern Lights to create the look we wanted with my GelMoment collection!

 I think we nailed our version!

 

 Seriously I can not love how it turned out more!!

 

 

I cannot stop looking at them! 

 

 They just make me smile! Not just because they are too stinking adorable but because I know if I went to a nail salon and had nail art done on 10 nails I would be looking at a HUGE bill at the check out. GelMoment allows me to have amazing nails but for a fraction of the cost per manicure or pedicure!

Getting ready for Valentine's with my new manicure! I will likely do myself another one for the special day itself but this one is getting my spirits humming - I love February!
