Welcome to another edition of Fun Fold Friday - today I am trying a fold I saw from Stampin’ with Tami.

Today’s card design was inspired by playing along to a few challenges:

Im getting inky with Fun for Fall bundle, Glow of Harvest DSP from August POM, Metallic Gems, retired Word Window punch and unbranded Gold twine.

Fun Fold Friday

Welcome to another edition of Fun Fold Friday. Today I am giving a Funky Diagonal Fun Fold from Rose Coleman a try.

Playing along to the Krafty Chicks Challenge - Christmas.

I’m getting inky with some sneak peek goodies coming in September: Winter Adventure Dies and Soirée Salutations paired with Country Woods DSP. 

Quick process video - can you spot my boo-boo as I was too eager putting my panels on? I fixed it after by adding another white insert on the other side so hopefully the receiver won’t notice the difference 🤣  I also struggled a bit with the diagonal arm as the measurements Rose gave I ended up with a much wider arm covering most of front vs being an arm” vibe so I cut it to down be 2” wide top and bottom angle. 

Final Design came together as a lovely Snowy Winter in the country  Holiday Wishes card for the upcoming season!

Welcome to another edition of Fun Fold Friday. Today’s design focus on a Pop Out Gate fold.

I was inspired by playing along with a couple challenges:

Another round of Tic Tac Toe challenge #tttc297 for the middle row down - Summer Theme, Free Fun Fold and Layers in my sentiment cluster.

The Paper Players challenge - #PP795 Going the Beach so I grabbed my sunglasses, camera and a cold lemonade to enjoy a walk along the shore.

And my colour palette from Color Dare Challenge -#714  - I’m using Calypso Coral & Lost Lagoon.  

I’m getting inky with the Summer Happiness bundle and coordinating Washi tape, Sincerely Noted mix & match ephemera and Lost Lagoon, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink inks.

Fun Fold Friday - Spanner card

Welcome to another edition of Fun Fold Friday. Today I am sharing a Spanner or Bridge card.

 

A spanner card (also known as a spanner panel card or bridge card) is a creative fun-fold papercraft card that features a "bridge" or "span"—usually made of clear acetate—connecting two outer flaps. This bridge creates a unique three-layer look, allowing for floating decorations and a two-stage, interactive opening experience.

My design was inspired by playing along with a few challenges. The Time Out challenge #TOT309 to use something clear - the window sheet in my Spanner fold, the Color Dare spring colour palette. I’ve used Lemon Lolly, Pretty in Pink, Balmy Blue, Shy Shamrock, and Peach Pie to match the #CDC695, Festive Friday Easter Inspo board #FFO205 to use Pastel colours, an Aperture inspired card in my peekaboo Spanner fold, Rabbits, Easter Eggs, Easter Greeting and the Easter basket. Just Us Girls mood board #JUG815. I saw Easter  Egg shapes in the floral decorated rocks so have eggs and flowers in my design.

 

I’m getting inky with the Easter Basket bundle and Easter Joy 12x12 DSP along with the Easter Time mix and match ephemera pack, Pretty in Pink blends and antique pearls coloured in Pretty in Pink.

Floating Fun Fold Friday

Welcome to another edition of Fun Fold Friday. Today I am playing with the Floating Front Fun Fold. A shout out to Stampin’ with Tami for the inspiration.

My design was inspired by playing along with a couple challenges. Shout out to Stampin’ Up! Only for their sketch challenge #SUOC396

I inverted it because the floral focal images fit best left and right oriented with the sentiment.

Hand Stamped Sentiments Blue Floral Mood board reminded me to get my new Lovely Blossoms paper out to play with and the floating clouds for this fun fold. #HSS483

Very little inky on this design because the paper is doing ALL the work! I am playing with the Lovely Blossoms 12x12 DSP, Greetings for All ephemera pack, a window sheet and the retired BOHO Chic embossing folder as it coo-ordinates lovely with the navy patterned DSP. Cloud Cover ink and blends marker. Some unbranded silver metallic twine and pearl dots. I also pulled out my Painted Poppies stamp set for my envelope.
