I’m getting inky with some old favourites from my stash Dressed To Impress bundle, Clearly For You, a fairy set for my sentiment and black bakers twine. Paired with the new Capturing Smiles, Wink Of Stella and rhinestones.

I’m getting inky with left over strips from Tuesday’s Black Magic Technique and the Fern & Flora embossing folder, Phrases & Frames bundle, Lemon Lime Twist, Antique Pearls coloured with coordinated colour blends marker & unbranded silver twine.

Welcome to my Wake Up & Create on Thursday challenge.

It’s a little mix of Throwback Thursday with an image inspiration to use to inspire you to shop your stash and combine some old favourites with new goodies in a new way and than share to inspire others to do the same with their stash! 

Today’s colour palette was inspired by playing along to the Color INKspiration challenge. I had to switch up Petal Pink for the Flirty Flamingo and Misty Moonlight for Night of Navy as I wanted to use the Country Woods DSP and they are close hues.

I’m getting inky with some old favourites in the Just Believe stamp set, the Timber embossing folder and unbranded gold twine paired with the Country Wood DSP, Sincerely Noted mix & match ephemera and 2026-2027 In Color Butterfly’s 

A little Thursday Tip - if your DSP or ephemera doesn’t quite match your over all colour palette you can use blending brush and ink to change the hue a bit. I wanted the sentiment from the Sincerely Noted ephemera to coordinate with the Country Wood DSP so blended it with Petal Pink to change the hue slightly. 

Final design is a lovely sympathy card that will hopefully bring comfort to someone in need.

The gold embossing is so pretty!

This week I am getting inky with the Colorful Seasons bundle, Prairie Grass stamps from my stash and have combined them with the new  Classic Greeting hot foil bundle, the Scenic Coast DSP and 2026-2027 In Color Butterflies.      

Love this combination of products - I think I could almost step into this image with an ice cold lemonade and watch the sunset.

Christmas in July throwback

Welcome to another edition of Throwback Thursday having fun playing with old favourites combined with new goodies! 

My design was inspired by playing along to a few challenges.

Double Trouble 3-2-1 challenge to use 3 colours, 2 layers and 1 holiday image. 

Try a Sketch On Tuesday sketch challenge - couldn’t choose between the two so created one for each.

For design number one I’m getting inky with the sneak peek July exclusive Festive Cheer, Stitched Season DSP and Peaceful Pine ribbon. Current Stylish shapes dies and Fern & Floral 3D embossing folder, rhinestone gems coloured red, Wink of Stella and Real Red and Old Olive ink paired with the Stitched Stockings stamps & punch and unbranded gold twine.

First design - love the starburst sketch design to show off the Stitched Seasons DSP

 

For design number two I’m getting inky with the leftover Stitched Season DSP scraps from my starburst, Exposed Brick embossing folder and Greetings for All ephemera pack, Wink of Stella paired with the Stitched Stockings stamps & punch, rhinestones coloured red and unbranded gold twine. 

   

Second design sketch featuring 5 little stockings hung by the mantle ready for a Merry Christmas. Love the Wink of Stella on the stockings white cuffs & toes gives a glittery Christmas vibe.

I’m getting inky with the old favourite the Kisses & Hugs January 2022 Paper Pumpkin and Be Mine dies paired with current Made with Love DSP, Bubble Bath ribbon, Heartfelt Hexagon and Triple Banner punch and Antique Pearls coloured with Real Red blends.

Another round of Tic Tac Toe over at the Paper Players almost a full card. I used die cut, twine, sentiment, sparkle, flowers, embossing and layers.
