Getting inky with the sneak peek of Merry Mischief bundle, Winter Dreams DSP, rhinestones, Wink of Stella and Secret Sea, Real Red and Mossy Meadow blends. 

 

Such an adorable Holly Jolly card for the upcoming season. He was fun to colour with the blends and adding Wink of Stella adds some more magical glimmer!

Clean & Simple Saturday

Welcome to another edition of Clean & Simple Saturday - still working at trying to hone those clean and simple design principles.

Todays design was inspired by playing along to a couple challenges:

Freshly Made Sketches #FMS748 I used a cluster of florals in place of the 3 circles. 

Time Out Challenge #TOC319 - pick 2 - over achiever that I am CAS design & Floral focal point & Birthday Best Wishes sentiments & Geometric stripes & polka dots

And a new one Krafty Chicks Challenge - birthday #832 Best Wishes sentiment.

I’m getting inky with Artisan Sketched Garden DSP, blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green blends, antique pearls and unbranded silver twine.

Think I got an ‘almost” clean and simple criteria with this one -  tried to keep my cluster contained in the bottom corner with a bit of subtle score lines up the side.

Freshly Made Sketches #FMS747 I saw Bokeh circles when I first saw it and then stretched it into a slimline design for today.  

Tic Tac Toe challenge #tttc298 top row Sparkle Ribbon Twine & Butterfly.

Color Dare Surprise to use your 3 favourite colours - Purple, Pink & Blue.

I’m getting inky with the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil bundle, Words of Beauty, Highland Heather, Melon Mambo and Coastal Cabana inks, blending brushes, unbranded silver twine and rhinestones coloured with my Melon Mambo blender pen. 

Came together as a fun cheerful ‘it’s your birthday’ card. I love the shine in the silver foil on the butterfly - my photo does not do it justice at all.

Minimalist Monday vibes

Welcome to another edition of minimalist Monday - honing the clean and simple design concept.

Today’s card design was inspired by playing along to a few different challenges:

TGIF Challenges #tgifc586 … just had to play along with this adorable farm mood board!

Freshly Made Sketches #freshlymadesketches #745 fun little square focal point design.

Global Design Project #gdp556 Case the Designer - Emma Goddard … such a fun colour palette I chose to use Lemon Lime, Strawberry Slush and Calypso Coral. 

 

Inspire.Create stamping challenges #220 to create a single layer design. 

Getting inky with the June 2026 POM Wild Bunch, Sincerely Noted Mix & Match ephemera pack, Lemon Lime, Strawberry Slush, Calypso Coral inks with blending brushes, Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake, Ivory and Pale Pink blends, 3/4” punch to create sun  mask and rhinestones.

Single layer design’s are definitely a stretch of creativity for me - but he’s a cute little Highland Cow who can steal the show!

Whimsical Wings & Things Wednesday

Welcome to another edition of Whimsical Wings & Things Wednesday - nothing more whimsical than a day spent playing pool side! 

Today’s design was inspired by playing along with several challenges:  

Freshly Made Sketches has this fun sketch #FMS744 

Inspired By #IB396 - I was inspired by the poolside theme and bright colour palette. I’m playing with Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo and Timid Tiger

Just Us Girls #JUG831 - Word PLAY which is perfect for a poolside day!  

Time Out Challenge #317 had a fun Water theme to go with my pool side design.

Getting inky with Summer Happiness Bundle, Cutest Crew stamp set for my sentiment, Artisan Sketched Garden DSP, Mini Corrugated embossing folder for the flip flop soles, Coastal Cabana and Timid Tiger markers and White Gel pen.

Fun final design for the pool lover on my mailing list. The pool towel is Melon Mambo cardstock with white gel pen polka dots to coordinate with the polka dots on my DSP. Sunglasses are due cut from Washi Tape, Flip Flops are dies and I embossed the soles to give them dimension. Camera is stamped and coloured and die cut.
