Fun Fold Friday

Welcome to another edition of Fun Fold Friday - today we’re exploring the Diamond Peekaboo fold. 

My card design is inspired by playing along to a couple challenges:

Inspire.Create.stamping challenges to case a card - I’m casing Susan Campfield’s fun Peek Through Diamond  fun fold.

Getting inky with Stitched Seaaons DSP, Festive Cheers bundle, Seasonal Cheer embossing folder, retired Little Letters dies, Candy gems,Triple Banner punch, retired and Large Oval punch.

Such a fun fold - loved the peek through between the diamonds and the triple diamond was perfect for JOY theme of a holiday card.

Welcome to another edition of minimalist Monday - honing the clean and simple design concept.

Today’s card design was inspired by playing along to a few different challenges:

TGIF Challenges #tgifc586 … just had to play along with this adorable farm mood board!

Freshly Made Sketches #freshlymadesketches #745 fun little square focal point design.

Global Design Project #gdp556 Case the Designer - Emma Goddard … such a fun colour palette I chose to use Lemon Lime, Strawberry Slush and Calypso Coral. 

 

Inspire.Create stamping challenges #220 to create a single layer design. 

Getting inky with the June 2026 POM Wild Bunch, Sincerely Noted Mix & Match ephemera pack, Lemon Lime, Strawberry Slush, Calypso Coral inks with blending brushes, Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake, Ivory and Pale Pink blends, 3/4” punch to create sun  mask and rhinestones.

Single layer design’s are definitely a stretch of creativity for me - but he’s a cute little Highland Cow who can steal the show!

Whimsical Wings & Things Wednesday

Welcome to another edition of Whimsical Wings & Things. 

Today’s card design was inspired by playing along with several fun challenges to get the MOJO going!

Using a leftover strip of DSP from the Inspire.Create Stampin’ Challenge and INKspirational Mood Board challenge from yesterday.

The leftover strip was perfect for the AAA Card Challenge #318 Follow My Lead .

Addicted to CAS #311 prompt to use patterns challenge - have the repeating floral pattern in DSP.

Festive Friday World Emoji Challenge #FF0213 - I chose the inspiration words of yellow, glossy elements with the shimmer brush on some of my flowers, a circle, a speech bubble created with careful placement of pearls below my circle, fun sentiment. 

Tic Tac Toe challenge #tttc296 fruit / patterned paper / summer colours along the top for the win. On the diagonal we have summer colours, die cut and layers as well. 

The Paper Players theme challenge #PP793 Summer Love - I love having fun in the sun sipping lemonade and watching the butterfly’s in our flower garden.

Getting inky with the Summer Happiness bundle, Artisan Sketched Garden DSP, Lemon Lolly, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie inks and blends, Barely Blush and Crisp Canteloupe shimmer brushes, retired Butterfly Duet punch, Stylish Shapes dies and Antique Pearls.

Final result is a bright and cheerful card  - trying to embrace the white space but couldn’t resist a little splatter using the glimmer brushes.

Double Vision Technique Tuesday

Welcome to another edition of Technique Tuesday - today I am playing with the Double Vision technique.

My final design was inspired by a few challenges.

Just Add Ink sketch challenge #JAI789 - perfect inspiration for trying out the Double Vision technique.

         

Inspire.Create Stampin’ Challenges colour palette #219 of Yellow, Pink and Orange. I’ve chosen Lemon Lolly, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie for my palette. 

 Cupcake Inspiration #638 Anything Goes  

INKspirational visual prompt - inspired by the bright colours and florals.

I’m getting inky with the Artisan Designed Garden DSP, Greetings for All Mix & Match ephemera, Barely Blush & Crisp Canteloupe Shimmer Brushes, Lemon Lolly, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie inks and blends. Metallic Silver.

Technique is a quick one that adds cool depth and dimension to your designer paper.

Technique Steps:

• Cut chosen DSP into strips - I have done 1/4” on the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP coloured with blends. 
• Adhere the strips to your base by alternating the use of flat layer with glue and a popped up layer using Dimension’s strips and repeat until all strips are adhered. Trim off excess if desired. 
• Complete your card design with a sentiment and embellishments of choice.

A bright & summery thank you card for someone special. I had fun colouring the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP with the bright colours & shimmer brushes for those pops of sparkle.

Monday MOJO

Welcome to another edition of Monday MOJO. Today’s card design was inspired by playing along to a couple challenges.

AAA colourful colour themed challenges colour board #24 shades of Pink - I have chosen Bubble Bath card base and blends to colour my sheep. 

 

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges LOVE theme #209. I am using Made with Love DSP with its cute heart patterns and XOXO. 

I’m getting inky with the Woolly Friends bundle, Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder, Bubble Bath Ribbon and Bubble Bath light and dark blends, the Triple Banner punch and a retired label punch.

  

Love how it turned out. The little pink Ewe is just so cute and the hanging banners was a great way to use up scraps from my IRIS Fold technique last week!

Technique Tuesday - Paper Ornaments

Welcome to another edition of Technique Tuesday. Today we are making paper ornaments thanks to the inspiration from over at Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges #ICSC203.

I’m using the gorgeous paper from the Peaceful Gardens suite and it’s cool blue wintery vibes but these double ornaments look stunning in almost every colour palette. 

What you need:

You start by cutting the 2x2 squares and 3x3 squares into 1/2 inch strips with your trimmer. 

Then using the 1/16” hole punch line up strips and punch holes in either end of the strips as shown here:

Thread the strips onto your hat pin using alternating colours.

Repeat with the opposite end of strips pulling from the bottom of stack each time. Once all are looped into hat pin you can add a Pearl if desired. Than repeat the process with the shorter strips to form your second ball. 

Add any additional pearls if desired and than your hat pin closure.

These are super quick and easy to make but pack an awesome ‘awwww so pretty’ from recipient's! Great to add to a hostess gifts in place of a normal bow on a bottle of wine or small gift.
