Welcome to another edition of Whimsical Wings & Things Wednesday - today’s offering is all about the Gilded Wings!

Today’s card design was inspired by playing along to a few fun challenges: 

Another round of AAA Coloirful colour themed challenges as I had left overs from yesterday’s technique session to use.

Sunday Stamps sketch #SSC391 - I swapped out the large oval for a Hexagon. 

Time Out Challenge encore because I love nature vibes cards. #TOC318 

I’m getting inky with the Gilded Wing Accents, Sincerely Noted Mix & Match ephemera, Crushed Curry, Golden Glow, Balmy Blue & Azure Afternoon reinkers, Metallic Gems and unbranded gold twine. 

 

I just love the Gilded Wing Accents against this colour palette - the deep rich blues against the golden yellows is so striking. I coloured on the gilded wings with my blends to add some blue hues to the butterfly as well. The large hexagon sentiment from the Sincerely Noted Mix & Match ephemera pairs perfectly.

Slimline Sunday

Welcome to another edition of Slimline Sunday! Today’s card was loads of fun to put together.

My card design was inspired by playing along to a couple few challenges:

Stampin’ Up! Only Challenges has a fun sketch which I stretched into a slimline layout. #SUOC406 Loved the big bold scalloped focal point. 

Inspired By challenges has a fun Summer mood board with colour palette. I have chosen to play with  Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Crumb Cake with the big bold focal image of my sandy beach scene. 

Another round of Tic Tac Toe #tttc297 because it’s a fun game with lots of ways to win - down the middle summer theme, free is unique texture of sandpaper and lots of layers!  

I’m getting inky with Summer Happiness bundle, Sincerely Noted Mix & Match ephemera, Sunset Sparkle sequins, So Swirly Embossing folder and Spellbinders scallop circle dies from my stash. 

Had fun with the beach theme - adding sand paper adds a fun dimension and extra texture. Love the So Swirly embossing folder as it looks like waves or hot tub swirls!

Feminine Vibes Friday

Welcome I am taking a break from doing a fancy fold to share a feminine and floral Friday design.

My card design was inspired by playing along with the Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge #AHSC672

I’m getting inky with the Lovely Blossoms DSP and the floral scraps left over from my Paper Piecing technique from the Fragrant Layers bundle and pearl gems.

Such pretty paper love how it came together.

I made a second card using the other scrap of floral in the Petal Pink.

Fun Fold Friday

Welcome to another edition of Fun Fold Friday -for today’s Happy Birthday design I am playing with a double front flap fold. 

My colour palette and floral design is inspired from playing along at the Card Concept #224 - love the spring vibe with this mood board!

Playing some more Tic Tac Toe challenge #tttc286 with the middle row for the win with  my florals, ink blending and sentiment strip. 

I’m getting inky with Fragrant Layers bundle, Natures Walk DSP, Stone & Vines embossing folder, shades of Garden Green and Soft Sea foam inks & blends, Greetings for All ephemera pack, Wink Of Stella and unbranded gold twine.

Final design is so pretty! The camera never picks it up but the floral images have Wink of Stella for a delicate shimmer. You could add a white mat to the second layer if you needed a design that allowed for more signatures.

Slimline Sunday

Welcome to another edition of Slimline Sunday. Today’s Happy Birthday card design was inspired by playing along with a couple challenges.

The CAS Colours & Sketches challenge #578 to use Pretty Peacock, Pool Party & Soft Sea foam.

The Stick It Down for this fun layout inspiration. I have stretched it to be a slimline version. 

I’m getting inky with Fragrant Layers stamp set, Fabulous Sayings stamp set, Pretty Peacock, Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam blends, Wink of Stella, Holographic gems, gold metallic ink, unbranded gold twine. 

The final design is a stunner if I do say so myself. Love the colour palette with the pops of Gold against the white space. 

Lots of texture and shine!

Whimsical Wednesday

Welcome to another edition of Whimsical Wednesday. What’s more whimsical than bobble headed ewe? 

My card design came together playing with a couple challenges. my Colour palette is again  from Hand Stamped Sentiments to use Strawberry Slush, Flirty Flamingo and Bubble Bath. Perfect palette for Valentine’s Day. 

Sunday Stamps for their layout #SSC379- although I had a hard time with embracing the skewed strips as couldn’t get them to lay right so made mine straight. 🤣

I am getting inky with the Woolly Friends bundle, Fabulous Sayings stamp set, Made with Love DSP, Hearts of Love embossing folder, Triple Banner punch. And Wobbler for the ewe head. 

 

Adorable little “Sending Love” Valentine or just a thinking of you occasion.

Monday MOJO

Welcome to another edition of Monday MOJO. Today’s card design was inspired by playing along to a couple challenges.

AAA colourful colour themed challenges colour board #24 shades of Pink - I have chosen Bubble Bath card base and blends to colour my sheep. 

 

Inspire.Create Stamping Challenges LOVE theme #209. I am using Made with Love DSP with its cute heart patterns and XOXO. 

I’m getting inky with the Woolly Friends bundle, Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder, Bubble Bath Ribbon and Bubble Bath light and dark blends, the Triple Banner punch and a retired label punch.

  

Love how it turned out. The little pink Ewe is just so cute and the hanging banners was a great way to use up scraps from my IRIS Fold technique last week!

Just Add Ink word prompt Celebration #JAI775

Over at Festive Friday National Candy Cane Day #FF0199 word prompts I am incorporating Red, White, Green, Sequins and Christmas Sentiment 

I’m getting inky with the Traditions of Christmas DSP and sequins, Greeting for You ephemera and retired Winter 3D embossing folder, Bird Builder punch, 2 1/2” circle punch and gold twine.  

Final design is so cute - I used the Coastal Cabana maker to incorporate that colour into the plaid paper from the Traditions of Christmas DSP punched with the 2 1/2” circle and the gold twine circled around it formed a little “nest” for the Cardinal for this “Seasons Greetings.”

Snowflakes on Saturday.

Happy Saturday! Today I am sharing a clean and simple (for me) card inspired by a few challenges!  

Addicted to CAS Metallic Challenge - I’ve used metallic silver twine.

Color Dare challenge #681 inspired my palette of blues in Misty Moonlight and Cloud Cover.

Tic Tac Toe challenge #ttyc286 left hand row of Texture created with using layers in my focal image, White colour and Plaid in my Forever Plaid embossing folder. 

I’m getting inky with Delicate Pines stamp set and Elegant Pine snowflakes dies, Forever Plaid embossing folder, Misty Moonlight and Cloud Cover inks and some silver metallic twine and rhinestones for the snowy vibe bling! 

Came together as a very pretty “warmest winter wishes” card
