Funky Folds meets Technique Tuesday

Welcome to another edition of the Funky Folds Blog Hop.

We are a group of like-minded paper crafters who love to make cards with funky folds. Funky actually means "modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way"... so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think 'easel', 'pop-up', 'gatefold', ‘z-fold', 'shaped' or 3D cards etc. The list is endless.

All Blog Hops have an 'anything goes' theme using any type of 'funky' card and I've made a Peekaboo Bridge Card featuring the cute stamp set, Jars of Joy from Stampin’ Up!

Thanks to Cindy for the tutorial inspiration!

Here are the measurements for the gold - it’s a fairly quick and easy one to make!

Since this month’s Funky Fold blog falls on a Tuesday it was a bonus fun to do both a fun fold AND a technique today!

I am playing with the Faux Tile as well. Another super simple that packs a WOW - you will need a bone folder and scoring board and ideally a brayer although you can use a sponge or blender brush just need to be very gentle so you don’t push ink into your grout lines.

Sharing a technique card I created for a previous class - I love being able to look through my 6x6 technique book I created for inspiration!

It’s a fun look with the faux tile behind the cookie jar to give the sitting on the kitchen counter vibe!

Up next is Bronwyn and I'm keen to see what she has made for our this months Funky Folds Blog Hop!
