Welcome to another edition of Technique Tuesday. Today I am sharing the no line watercolour technique.
My card design was inspired by a couple challenges. The Color Dare colour challenge
#686 I’ve chosen Bubble Bath, Flirty Flamingo and Poppy Parade with a wee bit of green as a natural option.
The Sunday Stamps sketch #SSC377 - I have swapped the elements orientation from horizontal to vertical.
I’m getting inky with the Fragrant Layers Bundle, Lovely Stripes embossing folder, Splash of Sparkles DSP and the Three Banner punch, Aqua painters and from my stash some Gold Twine and Pearls.
Tips:
- Make sure to stamp off your image base so that the lines are just faint enough to see but will disappear when you add your water colours.
- Start with your lightest watercolour and add in more colour as needed.
Such a pretty delightful result.
I think I might try the same technique but with blends markers instead of the watercolour to see the difference.
