Whimsical Wings & Things Wednesday

Welcome to another edition of Whimsical Wings & Things Wednesday - today I am sharing the Whimsical Christmas Crew.

My final design was inspired by playing along to the  Sunday Stamps sketch challenge. #SSC397 - I opted for a rectangle focal to go with the signs shape.

I’m getting inky with the Creative Celebrations mix & match DSP, Christmas Crew stamp set, Adhesive Peppermint gems, Wink of Stella and blends to colour my reindeer.

How adorable is the little Rudolph the reindeer?

Welcome to another edition of slimline Sunday - a chance to enjoy some extra design space!

I’m getting inky with the Christmas Crew paired with the ole favourite Peaceful Deer and some adhesive backed snowflakes for a wee bit of bling and Secret Sea and Pool party inks and blends to colour my crew.

Love the little crew members in this stamp set - a slimline is a great way to showcase all 3 of them. They reminder me of a little Christmas picket line at the North Pole.

Technique Tuesday - Dotted Delight

Welcome to another edition of Technique Tuesday - today I am playing with what I am calling a dotted delight technique which I saw from another paper crafter Jackie Mooney card and thought I just have to try that!

My final design was inspired by playing along to a couple challenges: Freshly Made Sketches sketch #FMS756

Inkspirational Clean & Simple #378

Krafty Chicks Challenge - Christmas

Clean and Simple Cardmaking October challenge Black & White with a pop of colour.

I’m getting inky with the Soirée Salutations stamp set, Nested Essentials dies, Triple Banner Punch, retired corner punch, white gel pen and red Stamp Write marker.

Quick process video showing the basic technique is to use a mask to mask off the area you want to “dot” and just add dots over and over to create shading for your desired end image.

Love the simplicity of the dotted design - it produces an elegant image and is so relaxing to do.
