 I am tickled pink to see my two creative worlds colliding! I love to stamp and create with paper but to be able to combine my love of stampin' AND having pretty nails! I predict this new product from GelMoment is gonna be flying off the shelves - ordering goes live tomorrow at 2pm!

The Magic of Flake Off by GelMoment!

Our easy non toxic removal options are one of the things I fell in love with first when introduced to GelMoment! I know that years of having the salon remove my polish with a dremel has greatly affected the thinning of my nail bed - I am hopeful that changing to this safe removal system will help to restore my natural nail health over time!

Flake Off is one of two options for safe removal process - 5 Free and Acetone Free!  - it is memorizing to watch it work its magic!  

It is so cool to watch it gently bubble and lift it up!

A little video of the Flake off in action so you can see how easy it just lifts op and you push it off! If you have really dry nail beds or several layers of polish on it may take a repeat application - do not SCRAP your nail bed just gently push the polish off.

Gentle Removal

While the GelMoment polish can last for up to 14 days depending on your nail bed - eventually you are gonna want to remove it to try a new colour! One of the benefits of the GelMoment DIY from home system is GENTLE REMOVAL options! .

We have two options for customers depending on preference - today we are gonna focus on the Gentle Remover Pads. Come back tomorrow to see the Magic that is Flake off! 

The Gentle Remover pads come in a box of either 50 for $8.75 or 100 $15

 

All you need to do with these ones is gently buff the shine off your polish,  tear open a package pop your finger inside so that the pad is on top of the nail bed and than wrap it up on itself using the adhesive strip - repeat for all 5 fingers! Wait 5-10 minutes and than gently push the polish off with the flat end of a cuticle pusher. Repeat with the other hand - you can do both hands at once if your skilled but I prefer to have a hand free to scroll social media while I am removing!

If you are finding the pouches hard to keep on your fingers we also have handy clips to help add additional pressure of the pad onto the nail bed and hold the pouches in place!

Weather outside is Frightful but my Nails are so delightful

 

When the Weather Outside is Frightful but my Holiday manicure is so delightful!

 

 

A huge shout to Guinevere at The Sand Bar for help with my holiday manicure this year - a fellow GelMoment sister now featuring the line in her home based nail salon here in London Ontario! This nail art was definitely a labour of love for Guinevere as it is so finely detailed it was not one of those quick '2 minute nail art' you pay big bucks for at the salon - it was carefully hand painted with so much attention to detail - I do not want to ever have to take it off!!!!

Quick and Simple Christmas card!

 Designing today for the Scrapbook Nerds & Friends over on Facebook and I think I found a new addiction - Doodlebug Designs!

The whole line of everything is just ADORABLE!!!!

I loved the little Mrs. Claus and paired her with some shape sprinkles and the Concord and 9th Seasons of Cheer sentiment dies! Also got to play with my Pink Fresh Studios Slim line Stitched Rectangles Essentials dies

 

The Slim line stitched rectangle dies are just so fun - a staple for every crafter!

The Concord and 9th Seasons of Cheers is going to make a lot of fun cards!

Together they helped to make a quick and easy yet, in my humble opinion, a totally adorable holiday card in less than 5 minutes!

What is Yerba Mate?

So anyone who knows me - when I come across an ingredient I do not recognize I google it just to make sure it is indeed gluten free or good for my auto immune issues. 

So recently I have been working to sample the GelMoment tea line - I started with the 'Take a Moment' which has an ingredient list of:

Gnome for the Holidays

Today I am guest designing for the Scrapbook Nerds! Today I am playing with a card kit called "Gnome for the Holidays" from Photoplay.

 

 

It is such an adorable little kit! You get everything you need to make 8 adorable cards with an instruction sheet!  PLUS 3 extra sheets of each paper to create your own cards just add different embellishments!  

 These are the 8 cards I made using the instructions - cannot wait to create some more outside the box with the left overs and other stamps from my stash!
