Getting inky with Butterfly Flight, Echoes of Detail and Sweet Sentimental hot foil bundles and Gorgeous Grape &  Highland Heather inks. 

Love the shimmer of foiling adds such an elegance. Quick and simple design but packs a punch!

I’m getting inky with some ole goodies from my stash back before I used to label old 🤣 Playing with the Cajun Craze, Timid Tiger, Pool Party & Last Lagoon blends and ink pads and some metallic gems.

Love how this one turned out with the design staying along the edge in the little focal cluster.

Today’s card design was inspired by playing along to a few challenges:

Sunday Stamps Challenge #SSC393 for the mood board - I was inspired by the colour palette to use the Pumpkin Patch 12x12 DSP.

Getting inky with the Fun For Fall bundle, Words of Beauty stamp set, Painted Patch 12x12 DSP,  Radiant Fems, Cajun Craze, Timid Tiger, Golden Glow, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party blends and unbranded copper twine. 

Love the fun painted patch DSP - it’s a bright palette for Fall with the pops of blue. The little scarecrow in the Fun for Fall is too adorable and fun to colour!

Today’s card design was inspired by playing along to a few fun challenges: 

Another round of AAA Coloirful colour themed challenges as I had left overs from yesterday’s technique session to use.

Sunday Stamps sketch #SSC391 - I swapped out the large oval for a Hexagon. 

Time Out Challenge encore because I love nature vibes cards. #TOC318 

I’m getting inky with the Gilded Wing Accents, Sincerely Noted Mix & Match ephemera, Crushed Curry, Golden Glow, Balmy Blue & Azure Afternoon reinkers, Metallic Gems and unbranded gold twine. 

 

I just love the Gilded Wing Accents against this colour palette - the deep rich blues against the golden yellows is so striking. I coloured on the gilded wings with my blends to add some blue hues to the butterfly as well. The large hexagon sentiment from the Sincerely Noted Mix & Match ephemera pairs perfectly.

Welcome to another edition of Whimsical Wednesday - this little deer is just adorable.

Today’s card design was inspired by playing with a couple challenges.

Inspire.Create Stamping challenge #IC218 to use a creature/animal.

Getting inky with the Delicate Dreams DSP, Earthen Toned metallic DSP, Notes of Spring June POM, Greetings for All mix and match ephemera, Floral Spray 3D embossing folder and Streaked Dots adhesive gems.

Such a warm welcome card for a new baby. I love the shimmer of the Earthen Toned metallic DSP and the bronze shimmer in the Delicate Dreams DSP.

Welcome to another edition of Whimsical Wings & Things. 

Today’s card design was inspired by playing along to a couple challenges. Sketch layout and stamp choice came from over at Sunday Stamp Challenges - the hexagon sketch made me think of bees. 🐝 #ssc383

Bees are perfect for the yellow colour palette mood board from over at Colourful Options. 

Another round of Tic Tac Toe because well it’s a fun game! I played the left hand column with Spring bees, Black Gold twine and a hexagon embossing folder! #tttc289

I’m getting inky some ole favourites and current goodies. Bee My Valentine stamp, Bee builder punch, Greetings for All ephemera pack, Hexagon embossing folder and vellum. Daffodil Blends marker. 

Turned out so cute! I colored some of the embossed hexagon imprints to mimic the sketch inspiration, used a punched out bee 🐝 instead of the circle and added some twine behind the popped up bee for some added texture and the congratulations sentiment is from the Greetings for All ephemera pack. 

To adhere my vellum I sponged glue over the entire back so that the glue won’t show once it’s dried - I just didn’t wait long enough for it to dry before taking the photo so there is some still wet areas showing.

Feminine Vibes Friday

Welcome I am taking a break from doing a fancy fold to share a feminine and floral Friday design.

My card design was inspired by playing along with the Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge #AHSC672

I’m getting inky with the Lovely Blossoms DSP and the floral scraps left over from my Paper Piecing technique from the Fragrant Layers bundle and pearl gems.

Such pretty paper love how it came together.

I made a second card using the other scrap of floral in the Petal Pink.

Throwback Thursday

Welcome to another edition of Throwback Thursday a chance to play with old favourites and new goodies! 

My design was inspired by playing along with a couple challenges. The Global Design Project has a fun sketch #GDP538 and taking another round of Sunday Stamps spring mood board & colour palette #SSC381. Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Granny Apple Green and Petal Pink. 

I’m getting inky with the retired In the Moment stamp set paired with the Lovely Blossoms DSP, Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Granny Apple Green and Petal Pink blends and some pearls coloured with coordinating Secret Sea blends and petal pink ribbon. 

Created 2 fun designs with the coordinating papers created from the diagonal cutting of the DSP and tried the sketch both in portrait and landscape orientations. 

Love the images in this stamp set - women relaxing and engaging in some self care rituals! 

Fun card for a dog loving friend who needs a reminder to take care of themselves!
