Textured Tree Ring embossing folder, Old Olive, Golden Glow, Timid Tiger and Highland Heather inks, Gray Granite and Petal Pink blends, Neutrals Jute and Metallic Gems.

Getting inky with Butterfly Flight, Echoes of Detail and Sweet Sentimental hot foil bundles and Gorgeous Grape &  Highland Heather inks. 

Love the shimmer of foiling adds such an elegance. Quick and simple design but packs a punch!

Getting inky with the Gilded Gallery Kit, Softly Woven embossing folder, Gold metallic DSP, In Color Butterflies coloured the clear with Blackberry Bliss blends.

Love the Gilded Gallery Kit - it’s so pretty with the  colour palette in the watercolour paper and bling with the gilded gold flecks.

Such an adorable Holly Jolly card for the upcoming season. He was fun to colour with the blends and adding Wink of Stella adds some more magical glimmer!

Today’s card design was inspired by playing along to a few fun challenges: 

Another round of AAA Coloirful colour themed challenges as I had left overs from yesterday’s technique session to use.

Sunday Stamps sketch #SSC391 - I swapped out the large oval for a Hexagon. 

Time Out Challenge encore because I love nature vibes cards. #TOC318 

I’m getting inky with the Gilded Wing Accents, Sincerely Noted Mix & Match ephemera, Crushed Curry, Golden Glow, Balmy Blue & Azure Afternoon reinkers, Metallic Gems and unbranded gold twine. 

 

I just love the Gilded Wing Accents against this colour palette - the deep rich blues against the golden yellows is so striking. I coloured on the gilded wings with my blends to add some blue hues to the butterfly as well. The large hexagon sentiment from the Sincerely Noted Mix & Match ephemera pairs perfectly.

Festive Friday challenges National Friendship Day inspo list #FF0214 using pastel colours, knotted ribbon/twine, friendship sentiment, flowers & butterflies. 

As You See It challenge #377 using flower, die cut, shades of yellow, bold sentiment and enamel dots. 

Getting inky with the July POM Begonia Belle stamp set, Summer Happiness dies,  Everyday Arches dies, Flora and Fern embossing folder, Sincerely Noted Mix & Match ephemera, Lemon Lolly, Flirty Flamingo and Coastal Cabana inks and Silver Bakers Twine.

Happy with my design - a lovely cheerful ‘thinking of you’ card. Love the Sunset Shimmer Iridescent paper embossed it really gives a gorgeous shimmer.

Welcome to another edition of Whimsical Wings & Things Wednesday - nothing more whimsical than a day spent playing pool side! 

Today’s design was inspired by playing along with several challenges:  

Freshly Made Sketches has this fun sketch #FMS744 

Inspired By #IB396 - I was inspired by the poolside theme and bright colour palette. I’m playing with Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo and Timid Tiger

Just Us Girls #JUG831 - Word PLAY which is perfect for a poolside day!  

Time Out Challenge #317 had a fun Water theme to go with my pool side design.

Getting inky with Summer Happiness Bundle, Cutest Crew stamp set for my sentiment, Artisan Sketched Garden DSP, Mini Corrugated embossing folder for the flip flop soles, Coastal Cabana and Timid Tiger markers and White Gel pen.

Fun final design for the pool lover on my mailing list. The pool towel is Melon Mambo cardstock with white gel pen polka dots to coordinate with the polka dots on my DSP. Sunglasses are due cut from Washi Tape, Flip Flops are dies and I embossed the soles to give them dimension. Camera is stamped and coloured and die cut.
