Minimalist Monday

Welcome to another edition of Minimalist Monday - honing the less is more principle in a clean and simple design.

My card was inspired by playing along to a couple challenges:

CAS on Friday #339 flowers - I’ve chosen the Sunflower embossing folder for this round.

AAA Cards Challenge #320 - S themed challenge I have Sunflowers and Silver Shiny foil

As You See It  - Summer Days #AYSI378 - I have sunflowers and a summer yellow palette.

Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc298 top row for the win: sparkle, twine and butterfly.

I’m getting inky with the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil bundle, Coneflower Celebration stamp set, Sunflower embossing folder, Greetings for You ephemera pack and black gold twine.

Fun simple elegant ‘thinking of you’ card. I love the look of embossed vellum and the black & white with pops of yellow is so cheerful and hopefully will elicit pick me up vibes in the receiver.

Whimsical Wings & Things Wednesday

Welcome to another edition of Whimsical Wings & Things.

Today’s card design was inspired by playing along with several fun challenges to get the MOJO going!

Using a leftover strip of DSP from the Inspire.Create Stampin’ Challenge and INKspirational Mood Board challenge from yesterday.

The leftover strip was perfect for the AAA Card Challenge #318 Follow My Lead .

Addicted to CAS #311 prompt to use patterns challenge - have the repeating floral pattern in DSP.

Festive Friday World Emoji Challenge #FF0213 - I chose the inspiration words of yellow, glossy elements with the shimmer brush on some of my flowers, a circle, a speech bubble created with careful placement of pearls below my circle, fun sentiment.

Tic Tac Toe challenge #tttc296 fruit / patterned paper / summer colours along the top for the win. On the diagonal we have summer colours, die cut and layers as well.

The Paper Players theme challenge #PP793 Summer Love - I love having fun in the sun sipping lemonade and watching the butterfly’s in our flower garden.

Getting inky with the Summer Happiness bundle, Artisan Sketched Garden DSP, Lemon Lolly, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie inks and blends, Barely Blush and Crisp Canteloupe shimmer brushes, retired Butterfly Duet punch, Stylish Shapes dies and Antique Pearls.

Final result is a bright and cheerful card  - trying to embrace the white space but couldn’t resist a little splatter using the glimmer brushes.

Throwback Thursday

Welcome to another edition of Throwback Thursday a chance to play with some ole favourites paired with new goodies!

Today’s card design was inspired by playing along with a few challenges.

Sunday Stamps had a fun sketch to try out #SSC380.

The Paper Players have a mood board of Mythical Creatures and I have chosen Leprechaun and the Easter Bunny. #PP775

AAA Cards challenges to create a Spring card with one of the 4 options and I chose the lamb/ewe.

The INKspirational #362, Just Add Ink #JAI780 and the Just Us Girls #JUG912 all had use stencil challenges - I am using my brick stencil and champagne mist ink for a glimmer of spring gold!

CAS on a Friday #CASF328 has a cute challenge and well what’s cuter than Ewes wearing costumes?

Over at Festive Friday #FF0204 St. Patrick’s Day - I have chosen to use green, gold twine, gold foil, spatters of champagne ink on the brick embossed background  and Leprechaun.

I’m getting inky with the Wooly Friends bundle, Exposed Brick embossing folder, Greetings for All ephemera kit, Holographic gems, retired brick embossing stencil, Champagne Mist ink and  unbranded Gold Twine. Old Olive and Soft Sea Foam blends, Grey Granite blends, Bubble Bath blends.

Final design is so freaking cute with a magical little Leprechaun Ewe I made a second one for an adorable Easter Bunny Ewe.

To make them even cuter I popped their little heads on wobblers to make them Bobble Heads 🤣
