Sweet Stampin’ - create a CAS card design - I’m trying a slimline clean & simple.

Inspired By… #IB407 Acorns - using the Glow of Harvest DSP with the pretty acorns. 

I’m getting inky with the Christmas Mice bundle, Soirée Salutations stamp set, Glow of Harvest DSP, Triple banner punch, Metallic Gems, unbranded gold twine and Timid Tiger, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink blends.  

Lovely ‘grateful for you’ card for my stash. The little mouse is just too adorable!

Clean & Simple Saturday

Welcome to another edition of Clean & Simple Saturday - working on honing the less is more design philosophy. 

My final design was inspired by playing along to a few challenges:

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #AHSC699 

 

CAS Colours & Sketches challenge #594 pretty colour palette of Peaceful Pine, Highland Heather, Bubble Bath. 

Almost Clean & Simple CAS cards - #saturdaychallenge14 Trees

 

Krafty Chicks Challenge - share a CAS card 

Getting inky with Winter Adventures Dies, Soiree Salutations stamps, Snowflake Adhesive backed gems, Triple Banner punch & Peaceful Pine, Highland Heather and Bubble Bath inks with blending brushes. White Gel pel.

 

Final design came together so beautifully - the soft blended strip of Highland Heather & Bubble Bath blending into a wee bit of white for snowy ground, two trees die cut and blended with Peaceful Pine. Scatter of clear snowflakes around the trees and an ombré sentiment with one word in each colour of my palette. Couple score lines either side of blending to frame my night sky. 

   

Nothing like a a snowy night forest scene for spreading some peace. hope. joy. this season!

I’m getting inky Painted Patch DSP, Soirée Salutations stamp set, Inspired By Nature dies, Friendly Foliage Dies, Pool Party ink and antique pearls.

Love the final outcome from the Textured Tree Rings folder to the soft monochrome blue palette and teal pumpkins.

Fun Fold Friday

Welcome to another edition of Fun Fold Friday. Today I am giving a Funky Diagonal Fun Fold from Rose Coleman a try.

Playing along to the Krafty Chicks Challenge - Christmas.

I’m getting inky with some sneak peek goodies coming in September: Winter Adventure Dies and Soirée Salutations paired with Country Woods DSP. 

Quick process video - can you spot my boo-boo as I was too eager putting my panels on? I fixed it after by adding another white insert on the other side so hopefully the receiver won’t notice the difference 🤣  I also struggled a bit with the diagonal arm as the measurements Rose gave I ended up with a much wider arm covering most of front vs being an arm” vibe so I cut it to down be 2” wide top and bottom angle. 

Final Design came together as a lovely Snowy Winter in the country  Holiday Wishes card for the upcoming season!  

Standing look from different views - another fun fold that really shows off the DSP!
