Kits, Kits, everywhere Kits!

Our NEW Kits Collection is an exclusive collection of choreographed, all-inclusive kit products curated and created for the new customer and beginner crafter! This collection is unique because it was designed with the beginner crafter in mind. Its intent is to inspire creative confidence and introduce new crafters to the joy, simplicity, and fun of creating with Stampin’ Up! Not only does it give you a taste of what Stampin' Up! is all about, especially if customers join with others to share a creative experience using the kits via a girls night in person or virtually, but it also allows you to enjoy some relaxing fun in a low-stress environment.

Of course, kits can also be completed outside of a gathering for those who like to craft on their own, and we know that more than just beginner crafters will love them too.

This type of kit is perfect for those who . . .

  • Value creative and social experiences more than specific projects or products
  • Have limited time or space and would not be interested in collecting products to support a hobby.
  • Don’t consider themselves to be creative.
  • Aren’t ready to invest in a new hobby.
  • Are looking for a unique 'girls night in' experience where you can create your own projects to take home at the end of your social gathering.

Ordering Details:

Customers can order directly online HERE or if you are wanting to join in a kit class or create your own 'class' with your friends please email me directly for upcoming kit class socials and so that I can get you a class codes to order from.

The perk of ordering online is that you can:.

  • See the available kits and order in one step.
  • Become familiar with ordering online directly - ships direct to you so you have it to bring with your in person or to complete virtually depending on how your event is being hosted.
  • Payment is easy and private with use of a credit card direct paying to Stampin' Up!.

Important notes:

  • These kits will not go into backorder. If a kit is not in stock online, it will not be orderable as these kits are sold while supplies last.
  • For those who do not care to order online I can place orders for kits via Order Entry Express (OEX) on my demonstrator website on your behalf - you would need to provide me your credit card number for payment OR EMT the total in advance and I will pay with my credit card. However, a word of caution: If you order a kit in this manner, there may be a risk that it could go out of stock between when you choose it and when I am able to place the order for you—and so that risks disappointment or having to change your choice.

Kit Overview

Kits come with everything one needs to enjoy creativity and not feel overwhelmed.

  • All-inclusive
    • Our kits come with everything required to complete the specific projects. Supplies include a block and ink spot(s) if applicable, plus any necessary adhesive—like Glue Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals, etc.
    • Benefit: No worry about not having something to complete the project or needing to make extra purchases.
  • Pre-cut pieces and elements
    • Benefit: The projects are planned, designed, and prepped so the customer can just enjoy the experience of creating with confidence without feeling overwhelmed.
  • Less complicated projects with more straightforward stamping and/or assembly
    • Benefit: Forgiving, easy to achieve success and feel confident in the creative process.
  • Instructions are included
    • The instructions are in color and show completed projects and digital, step-by-step renderings. Instructions include a QR code pointing them to a video that will help them make the kit (if needed).
    • Benefit: Customers making kits on their own or in a virtual setting have the information they need to help them recreate the projects.
    • See the instructions PDF for current kits at the bottom of the page.

Kits Contents: Product Details
  • Each kit contains:
    • Card bases & pre-cut pieces: Most card bases are pre-printed to create a beautiful look with less work; in part, this is why the cardstock is not the same cardstock offered in a regular catalog. It also allows us to keep kit costs low.
    • Adhesives: Adhesives included vary based on the project.
    • Stamps: The stamps in our stamping kits are photopolymer. This allows a new stamper to see where they are stamping, and that helps inspire creative confidence.
    • Clear block: All stamping kits include a clear block. It is thinner than a catalog block, has rounded corners, and measures 2-7/8" x 2-11/16".
    • Stampin’ Spots: A Stampin’ Spot is a small ink pad. This size of ink pad is perfect because, again—this is an “experience in a box” so fits perfectly and many beginners may not want to collect large amounts of crafting supplies.
Low price point
  • Stamping Kits
    Price: $19.00 USD | $26.00 CAD
  • Non-Stamping Kits
    Price: $12.00 USD | $16.00 CAD

Important note: tax and shipping not included and varies by region shipping to

Benefit: The affordable price allows for low-cost entry to try the Stampin’ Up! experience, low risk investment, and they offer a great price point for gifting.

Self-contained

Everything fits in one box.

Benefit: You don’t need a lot of space or supplies to enjoy a creative experience. Kits are also portable so they can go where you do!

Not a subscription

Benefit: You can choose the kit(s) that appeal most to you, thus reducing uncertainty. It also allows a creative experience without the commitment of a subscription.

Oscar's Happy Day!

Margaret here guest designing for the Scrapbook Nerds Online store - make sure to come and join us in their Facebook group for daily inspiration, weekly challenges and giveaways from the amazing owner Joy!

Today I am playing with the adorable Oscar from Bella Blvd! Seriously how stinking adorable is this little sticker bundle?

 Bella Blvd - Cooper - Bella-Pops - Oscar

I used up all the pieces with this one and adding a little bling to Oscar because its 2021 and Oscar can identify however she'd like! I think she looks lovely with her bow and some added Rhinestone's coloured with my Stampin' Blends to match the bow!

This set paired perfectly with the Lawn Fawn - Lawn Cuts Happy Heart Day!

Lawn Fawn Happy Heart Day Line Border Lawn Cuts Dies

I used the 'negative' image from the die on a slip of scrap Bermuda Bay cardstock!

And look at how perfectly the heart from Oscar's sticker bundle fit perfectly inside the negative image left! Added some additional tinted rhinestones and whola the perfect card to congratulate a friend who just added a little puppy to her family!

Vicki Boutin Storyteller creations

Margaret here - its been a while since I have been in the craftroom -  apprently I managed to compress 3 disc in my neck and one of them keeps hernating anytime I have a flare in my arthritis which has made doing anything that involves holding my head up for too long excrusating painful - but we finally have a medication mix that seems to be working and I am having my first good day in months!

So I am back in the craftroom guest designing for the Scrapbook Nerd and their Facebook group - if you are not a member please come on over and click the join for lots of creative inspiration!  We have fun challenges each week from the design team and there are regularly prizes from Joy the owner of the Scrapbook Nerds online shopping website!

This week I am playing with Vicki Boutin's Storyteller collection because I just love all her designs!

Makes my heart happy that she has a grid paper as part of her collections - they are amazing inspiration for both quick cards and pocket scrap-booking!

I also used the TGIG challenge #TGIFC309  to jump start my creative juices!

I used the Concord & 9th Little Love Tags stamp set to create my own DSP background on the whisper white cardstock base in Pool Party.

I than cut out one of the grids from the Storyteller DSP and mounted in on Bermuda Bay cardstock, wrapped that with teal bakers twine and mounted it with dimensionals onto the base. I added a little 3D popped up butterfly from the Storyteller Butterflies layered stickers.I left the inside blank so I can use this card for any occasion when the time comes.

I also made a second card to use up the other half of my base paper cause I tend to create in 'twos'. For this one I used the Storyteller stencils to create a textured background on the base by sponging Pool Party ink. Chose the sentiment Happy Birthday to ... from the My Favorite Things - All About You stamp set placed perfectly in the banner and than adored with a retired sparkly ribbon and some iridescent pearls to complete the card front.

Inside I stamped the bold You in Pool Party to finish the card.

In my humble opinion this stamp set is a must for both cardmaking and using in scrapbook layout titles as it is so versatile for sentiments included fitting so many of life's moments!

Lovely Day Paper Pumpkin - outside the box!

Having a blast playing outside the box with the Lovely Day Paper Pumpkin kit for February! This kit's stunning color palette and imagery just brings so many ideas to my mind for alternatives and  love the sentiments in it as well!

My first alternative I  stuck with the supplies from the kit, aside from the In Color Faceted Dots in the coordinating Pretty Peacock.
Card two today used up the trimming from the Lovely Day kit and paired with the sentiment from the Happy Birthday Stamp set and the Thoughtful Blooms and coordinating punch FREE in Saleabration catty with a qualifying order.

This card uses the Happy Birthday cake image with the die cut of just the floral image using the coordinating Happy Birthday die and colored with the Pool Party and Granny Apple Green blends.
This card used a portion of the card base from the kit and an floral embellishment with some gold twine from my kit and the sentiment in old olive from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.
My last card for today used the card base of a card, the floral image and a sentiment from the kit ... colored with Pool Party blends and with a bit of silver twine and some pearls for this cute Congratulations card.

If you are not already a Paper Pumpkin subscriber you do not want to miss out on March's Kit .... Paper Pumpkin turns 7 years old and they are celebrating with an amazing card kit with an EXTRA free exclusive stamp set in addition to the one that normally comes with the kit!

Plus do not forget that if you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin through me as your demo you are invited to join me at the end of each month to play with out kits with some of the alternative ideas! Also if you are NOT a subscriber and would like to check out what Paper Pumkpin is all about just RSVP before the 10th of the Month and I can add an extra kit to my order for you to play with at the class! Queen of Hearts CASO Crop fun!

Had an amazing time today at the Queen of Hearts Crops fundraiser for CASO station!

As a vendor I had a lovely place to set up my goodies to showcase Stampin' Up! As well as a second table from which to 'destash ' some of my retired product that was looking for a new home to be loved in to make room for some newer product for me to play with!

My $5 Blow Out sale table was a huge hit - between the selling off of retired merchandise, scrapbook kit sales and orders I was able to donate 10% from those sales and helped to raise an additional $63.00 for the CASO station!

In the Welcome bags I sponsored I had played a little contest game with the croppers that the first 3 people to bring up a complete project showcasing a few of the retired items I had shared in their package would win a prize!

Jas was the first completed page - and she won our lovely Honey Bee DSP from the Sale-abration catalog.

Our next winner, if my aging memory serves, was Connie and she won the Lily Pads DSP
The final entry from Anne offered the first double layout option and so she was awarded the Lady Bug Hostess set for her entry plus she even used her pillow box, ribbon and tag from the welcome kit!
We also had two close contenders hot on the first threes tail with a card entry and a lovely single page layout!  My apologies I did not write down your names and now I am drawing a blank - however they were both lovely uses of the welcome kits contents!

Part of the festivities included Make N Take classes ... I introduced the croppers to the benefits of the card kits from Stampin' Up!

 black and white card kit

The Lots of Happy Card kit is a great kit for both new and avid stamps a like! Comes with 5 card designs and enough materials to make 4 of each card design. Or you can dissect your kit as I did and use some of the materials to make scrapbook layouts or alternative projects!

 black and white card kit

All 24 slots for the make n take were snatched up which made my heart so very happy! Everyone had lots of fun colouring the floral imagery! Water colouring with pencils and our blender pens is so relaxing! Stampin' and putting together the cards were a nice quick and simple process and I loved how some of the ladies were able to think outside the box and create cards with their own flare!

To add to the fun of the event I had hidden a 'winner' ticket inside the catalog in the Welcome kits and congrats to the lovely Heather for being the first and only person to find a winner ticket ... we ended up drawing names for the other two since no one had come forward to claim them!

For those out of town who were wanting to create an online order to support the fundraiser please shop my online store www.totallyawake4.stampinup.net and use the following hostess code below before February 29th. Thank you

Thanks for a great day to all!
